Drive
Jockey
An electronic key locking device [programmable
immobilizer] for the use of rental cars. It is activated by magnetic stripe
plastic card, which is programmed by a PC to the required rental period.
Once the period has expired, the car ignition will not be possible until
the card is reprogrammed or an emergency card is used.
Remote
Jockey
A remote immobilizer/actuator of
cars, machines and/or electrical appliances. It uses the GSM network to
remotely activate or deactivate the ignition. It is based on same controller
as in DJ.
Track
Jockey
An automatic vehicle tracking system based
on GPS and GSM. It is used to find a lost car or to monitor at a control
room the route driven by a car on the map. It receives position and time
signals from GPS satellites to determine the the car's position, then
describes that position as north-east coordinates, and then sends that
data by an SMS message on the GSM network to the control room. The computer
system in the control room converts those coordinates onto the map to
let the car then appear as a dot on the map.
