The Tracking Software

provides the basic engine of a fleet management and/or dispatch system for service fleets.. It shall facilitate the dispatch of field service vehicles based on following components:

Display the locations of all customers or a selected category of customers on the map. Those locations could have different symbols according to their categories. Once you point to one of them with the mouse, you get an information box with all details about that customer.

Select a group of locations and assign them to a service vehicle. Then print a hardcopy of the map portion that shows the locations assigned to that vehicle.

Report the monitoring of the vehicle by the tracking system. It shall demonstrate the timing and the adherence of the service vehicle to the assigned work order or any deviations thereof.

Trip report: it prints in table format the data of each trip made by the car during the monitoring period, such as the start time & place, the end time & place of the trip, the average speed during the trip, ..

Start/stop report: a list of all stop points and the duration – start/end - of each stop so that you can calculate the average service time for each customer and detect problem areas or un-permitted stops. and also speed report.

Send the data of a certain point of service to the field vehicle to divert its operation to that point as an urgent service required. This could be done by sending an SMS message to the vehicle, which shall be displayed on the LCD display inside the vehicle. The driver can acknowledge receipt of the message by pressing a small push button beside the display.

The field worker or driver in the vehicle can also select and send one of a pre-stored messages to inform the control center of his work status and give his confirmation of work done.
